Plant Protection

My lab works on mite-plant interactions. We do this using molecular (genetic and proteomic) tools. At the moment the work in our group is focused on molecular taxonomy as well as development of genetic markers for easy identification of various mite families and species. We also plan to work on topics such as pesticide resistance and mite salivary molecules and their targets in host plants.
